Brief Description of Program:

    The Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) reaches families with incomes at or below the poverty threshold, or families that qualify for Federal Food Assistance Programs (ie WIC, Food Stamps, TAMF, Head Start, Free or Reduced School Lunches) when these families have school aged or younger children at home.  Pregnant women who qualify for WIC also qualify for EFNEP.

            1974 - Graduated Deland Senior High School, Deland FL

            1981-1983 - Daytona Beach Community College, Daytona, FL (EMT I, Basic Nutrition)

            2004-Present - Polk Community College (Continuing Education towards Associate Degree)

            Experience:

            2003-Present - EFNEP Program Assistant, Polk County Cooperative Extension Service

            2000-2003 - Medical Coder, Watson Clinic

            1998-2000 - Lakeside Pediatrics

            1988-1993 - EFNEP Program Assistant, University of Vermont Extension Service
