Brief Description of Program

The Livestock and Forage Program is dedicated to improving the livestock industry in Polk County through the adoption of better management practices.  The program is also dedicated to educating producers of Polk County about the newest science based research to better solve production problems.

The Extension Livestock Agent serves the producers of Polk County by being a member of both the South Florida Beef Forages Group as well as the Central Florida Livestock Agents Group.
